RELEASE

"We must always change, renew, rejuvenate ourselves; otherwise, we harden."

- Goethe

When we carry resentments we only injure ourselves.  Being hurt or angry doesn’t change the other person or situation.  It is what it is.  The only thing a toxic emotion changes is US.  That’s right… it changes our ability to move ahead unencumbered.

We will carry these resentments until we realize that we are giving away our power, or said another way, when we realize that we have an energy leak.  If you fill your gas tank (i.e., emotional energy) for a most pleasant drive through the ever-beautiful countryside, you do not want a leak in your tank.  You need the full tank to assist you in your joyous exploration (and resulting rejuvenation) and then to get you home again.

Release and Be Free
Home represents the Self.  In order to be more fully in touch with our Self, we must make a choice, many choices, in fact, along the way.  Life is not a passive activity.  When we choose to be present with someone, or in any given situation, we need access to our emotional energy.

Reclaim that part of your emotional energy which you have given away.  Try this:  write a letter to that person with whom you still have angry, hurt and/or resentful feelings.  Say whatever you have fantasized expressing; be brutal if you feel that way, just be sure to let it all out!  Then, burn the letter (at the beach, on your porch, in the backyard) and witness your toxic emotions go up in smoke and ashes. Say a prayer of release or words of peace to yourself and also about the other person/situation.   The Universe will absorb the energy, hurting no one.

Ah, you feel renewed and at peace.  The charge to that person/situation has already begun to lessen.  You have reclaimed your power and you are free.

HORROR WITHIN FOUR WALLS: Energetic Space Clearing

“Kill Your Family!”

Residential Energetic Space Clearing
Actual Case Synopsis

“Kill your family NOW!  In late 2012 I received an emergency call for help.  a teenager was hearing voices.
The teen was constantly fighting the commands in his head; his parents were terribly afraid he was losing the battle.
He may be schizophrenic; it runs in our family.”   Mom, clearly desperate, needed help before it was too late.
Family Home/ Male Teen’s Bedroom:
Stepping into the teen’s room, I felt stifled.  It was dark; I had trouble breathing.  I was drawn to extreme anxiety and sadness in the bathroom and  I felt hostility coming from the far right corner.  His girlfriend then confided that the young man often cried in the bathroom and complained about a creepy feeling in that particular corner.
Assessment:  Entity
I felt the presence of an entity in the bedroom.  As defined in the Miriam-Webster Dictionary an entity is something that has separate and distinct existence.  It is an energy that does not belong to you, but as host (no matter how unwilling or unknowing), you become home and survival to this parasitical presence.

As soon as I closed my eyes, I “saw” the entity.  He was crouched over as though he was prepared to attack.  His arms were held high, arched and ready to pounce.  He appeared very angry and reeked with rage.

“GET OUT OF MY HOUSE OR I WILL GET MY GUN AND KILL YOU!”

Entities range from bothersome to extremely harmful, and in many cases, you may not even know they are in your space.  However, if you’ve recently experienced some or all of the following symptoms, which can come about quickly or over a period of time, you have quite likely become a host.
·       Agitation

·       Depression

·       Craving for sugar, alcohol or other unusual
              substances as never before

·       Lack of sleep and/or nightmares

·       Unexplainable illness, aches and pains

·       Arguing with others in the home
Back Story:
In my opinion, the young man is not schizophrenic, but rather, very sensitive and able to pick up on the vibration and frequency of the old man’s energy.  He is also feeling the anger and mistaking it, as well as the desire to kill the family, for his own.

When the elderly mother and father of my client’s husband needed assistance due to Grandfather’s Alzheimer’s disease, his family moved in.  After an add-on to the home, the back patio, where Grandpa spent most days alone, became the teenager’s room.

The old man still believed he was out on his quiet patio only to be disturbed by the annoying teenager.  Because he had Alzheimer’s disease upon his death, he didn’t recognize his own family, therefore, intended to protect his property by shooting and killing the intruders!

Grandpa didn’t realize he was deceased, which is so often the case in hauntings.  I invited the entity (ghost) to walk into the light with me as a way to remove him from this world and help transition into another dimension (some call it Heaven/Hell) where only the energy of the Soul remains (no body).
Result:
Grandpa crossed over to greet his beloved with no further ado.  I could breathe much easier.  The heaviness I’d felt was gone;  the house felt lighter and energetically cleaner.  The young man’s bedroom was no longer ominous, but now peaceful.

That might have been the end of the story.  It isn’t.

I’ll write again soon and let you know what happened next (an astonishing look into human nature).

Truth IS stranger than fiction…
