CUTTING CORDS TO TRAUMA: Live for Those Who Died

Imprinted Trauma

Bombs were not the only thing exploding in Boston on April 15, 2013.  Fear erupted  into the atmosphere, descending down upon the people of Boston.

This horrific event has been imprinted upon not only the runners but all of the supporters, friends, family, responders and even those witnessing this tragedy on television and on the Internet. This type of profound energetic imprint does not simply go away. It becomes entrenched into our very being and can change the course of our life...if we let it.

The experience will become a part of our history but it doesn't have to dictate our present or future.

Grief is an Imprint
Just as I cut counter-productive energetic cords on a person-to-person level , it is possible to cut cords connecting us to a traumatic events. Of course, this will not remove the event from our memory but rather release us from the emotional charge we once felt in response to such an experience.

It IS a choice;  we do not have to fall victim to life's shadow events. They are here to teach us about ourselves. Cutting energetic cords to high stress situations creates the emotional space to process our experience in a positive and powerful manner.

Life goes on. Carrying limiting imprints (energetic cords) does not honor those we lost.  Live for those who died; that is the highest salute we can offer.

DIVINE DISCONTENT

Divine Discontent can be quite useful.  It can be the rocket fuel needed to get you moving again and it can stimulate your creative juices.

What Moves You?
When this energy is channeled in a positive direction, it becomes a natural step in a direction that supports your Soul’s calling.  It can help you weed out those things in life that distract you from your heart’s desires.

When not acknowledged as such, however, an imbalance can occur.  Symptoms are: lack of motivation, fatigue, trying new things (jobs, locations) and nothing holding your attention, low-grade depression, frustration, irritability, nothing has meaning, soul weariness, a feeling of having a half empty heart, cynical attitude, heaviness and pressure set in, physical discomforts, feeling discouraged, overwhelmed and rarely having fun. It is natural to have these symptoms come and go during the course of your life but as the exception and not the rule.

If you feel that these symptoms hang on, it may be time to look at root causes.  These causes more often than not, began in your earliest childhood and show up as energetic cords connecting you to old negative imprints.

These cords can be cut once you realize and accept the fact that you are stuck.  Remember, being stuck is merely a symptom of those energetic cords/early imprints.  Once the cords are cut, it is as if the very anchors that once held you back are instantly gone…and you are FREE to move in the direction of your truest desire.

If you have unsuccessfully tried to free yourself from emotional malaise, it may be helpful to know that even though you've come to intellectually understand the nature of your discontent, you are likely still tethered to family-of-origin beliefs that do not serve you (aka, energetic cords).

Help is available!  The very essence of my work, cutting energetic cords, is a healing process very near and dear to my heart.  We are ALL stuck at one time or another.  Now that you have this information, being stuck moves from unconscious to conscious…you now have a choice!

CUTTING ENERGETIC / EMOTIONAL CORDS

“The difference between school and life?
In school, you're taught a lesson and then given a test. In life,
you're given a test that teaches you a lesson.”

~Tom Bodett

Cutting the Energetic Cords
As an Intuitive Healer (Clairvoyant Medium), I facilitate healing energy work. I look deeply into the past to get a glimpse of the ‘energetic cords’ that bind individuals to very unhealthy and, oftentimes destructive, behavior patterns. I then cut those cords as a means of release from that unconscious repetitive behavior.

Utilizing my clairvoyant ability, I “see” mom and dad (going back to early childhood) doing their thing and how profoundly it affected us, especially prior to the age of five and before the development of intellectual capacity. Toxicity was absorbed and assimilated into our very cellular being as we headed out into the world to repeat behavior that continually failed to help us achieve our hearts desires. We often made choices with harsh consequences attached. We attracted unhealthy people as playmates and partners, we dealt with illness and depression and we allowed emotional and financial impulsivity to lead. We all deal - and struggle with - our own version of the Law of Attraction. No one is exempt from this, least of all me.

We are all teachers, demonstrated by how well we do something – or how poorly. Oftentimes, an outstanding teacher comes into our life to stir things up. They create nothing short of chaos in our lives. Inadvertently, or seemingly so, they teach us to speak up, how to proceed with love even when angry, how to take responsibility for our actions and how to be quiet and observe. Some teachers pay a high price in order to deliver these messages. They may experience loneliness, be ostracized or experience severe personal setbacks. Doing their “Soul Job” well, they stir our ego and push us into action. Our Soul is eternally grateful to these teachers.

I truly believe that we choose these teachers for exactly who they are and how they behave. Of course, we have no conscious idea that we are doing so, but our Soul knows. Our brilliant Higher Self knows that circumstances will play out in a particular way, so we call in these experiences to teach us something very vital to our growth process.

Releasing Energetic Anchors
When dealing with such a teacher, we have a stellar opportunity to do a quiet self-inquiry into why we chose this experience. By doing this, we place ourselves in a very powerful position – a stance that promotes growth rather than victimization, blame or shame. These emotions are all normal under stressful circumstances, however, I vote for alchemizing them into a golden opportunity to evolve by grasping the valuable and timely lesson(s) presented.

Can you identify an experience with a Chaotic Teacher? What did you learn? If the answer is, “no” or “nothing”, not to worry. You will have as many experiences as necessary to help you learn what your Soul deems important. Once the lesson is learned you will no longer need to a repeat performance and you will be free from the energetic/emotional anchor that once held you back.

THE GOODNESS IN MEN

"A tree is known by its fruit; a man by his deeds. A good deed is never lost; he who sows courtesy reaps friendship, and he who plants kindness gathers love."
- St. Basil

2012 was a year of receiving ‘proof’ I'd long-since yearned.  For several years I’d been quietly, and sometimes not-so-quietly, looking for the goodness in men.  This might sound trite, but I assure you, it was very important to me.

Natural Goodness
You see, I was raised in an alcoholic home by an abusive father and mentally ill mother. It was never easy and rarely did I feel safe. My father’s ill temper was always at its worst after a night of drinking.  I did not get to see his ‘good’ side.

I was in my 40’s before I made some peace with my dad.  I wanted to look beyond his earthy self to see the soul-goodness he possessed. I am grateful that I found that in him, even if it was 25 years after his death.

Several years later, I began to desire to see the goodness of men in relationships and in everyday life.  Because of my destructive early imprinting (and the energetic cords that it created) I had a tendency to attract men who, while not nearly as wounded as my dad, were still a long way from what I dreamed of.  I had to admit to myself that these men represented a barometer reading of what was still swirling around in my emotional body.  I began to realize that I might never find myself until I faced the truth about my beliefs about men.

Fast forward:  the year is 2012.  By then, I’d done an extreme amount of personal emotional and energetic work upon my Self.  I was still searching for evidence of the fruit of my labor when I met three extraordinary men.

The first young man is Dr. Oscar Manuel Solorio, Jr., a dentist in Tijuana, Mexico.  Upon a personal referral I visited Dr. Oscar Manuel to have a crown replaced.  He shares an office with his mother and father, both long-time dentists.  The energy in his office is lovely, laid-back and always welcoming.

Not only did Dr. Oscar Manuel do an excellent job on my crown (plus other dental care, as well) but he did it with kindness, respect and compassion.  I received a hug each time I arrive, and also when I left his office.  This type of warmness is often absent in the medical arena, so I especially appreciated the gentleness in which I was treated.  His fee was reasonable and manageable and he never charged me for small extras.

The second very special young man I had the privilege to meet is Ayham R. Skaf M.D., a Vitreoretinal Surgeon and Board Certified Ophthalmologist.  In mid-2012, I developed a macular hole (hole in my retina) and received a specialist referral.

Dr. Skaf was upbeat, very positive, and like Dr. Oscar Manuel, kind, compassionate and gentle.  Here, I was also greeted with a warm hug, as well as another when I left the office.  Dr. Skaf made a frightening, expensive procedure doable and successful.  His high vibration and light fills the office in a way that was not apparent before his arrival.

The third man will remain nameless, as the nature of our relationship is personal and private.  However, I will share this with you:  this kind and gentle man is open, curious and very creative.  He is interested in the world of spirit and is supportive of my life work, recognizing the humanity in my efforts.  He is generous and caring and really likes my cats (a huge plus)!

Having said all of this, the most amazing thing about this man is the way he invites me to communicate my truest nature.  This is critical due to my life-long challenge of full expression.  Raised southern, it was imprinted upon me that a woman should be what the man wants her to be, even if that meant sacrificing her authentic Self.  I’ve done a lot of that…too much of that!

Times are changing; I am changing.  Who I am is more aware, more accountable and more honest than ever before.  Likewise, so are the beautiful and good men that I have been fortunate enough to magnetize into my life.
